Obsessive or Organized..... that is the question

As I sit here on the computer I wonder if there will ever be a day where i don't make a "to do" list. Who in their right mind taught me this?!?! I love my to-do lists but sometimes I wonder if I'm being too obsessive.

Today's to-do list consists of:
  • check the camper (it leaked and i was drying it out to find where the leak was)
  • fill out direct loan papers (trying to consolidate my loans)
  • finalize guest list (this has been on there a while, and I'm still not satisfied!)
  • finalize music (same as above)
  • license Piper
  • work on wedding website
  • sign and mail feud papers (my credit card was lost and someone used it- multiple times!)
  • get all paperwork for marriage license ( yes i know its a little early for this, but i have to be prepared!)
  • research what needs to be done when i have my name changed (the men have it too easy!)
  • Laundry
  • Carpet clean
  • bake something (craving cinn. rolls)

Do other people really put things like "work on wedding website" on their list... I know its not an important task- its more of a hobby but i feel the need to put it on there. The list will grow as the day continues, and I will feel the need to add things on there that I've already done (because i got distracted) just so that i can put the little cross out line through them!
Some call it obsessive, others call it organized........ I'm not sure what I call it at the moment :)

  1. I used to make a lot of lists like that. I learned it from my mom. She came and stayed with me last summer and she of course made to do lists. She left one on the freezer and I still have it there. It makes me feel close to her and makes me smile. Anyways my mom always told me she loved the feeling of satisfaction when she got to cross something off her list. I figure if you make a lot of lists and it makes you feel good to get things done on them than it's not obsessive!
