Countdown to the big day!

Wedding-Countdowns

Ive had so much fun planning a wedding- I really would love to be a wedding planner- for the bride on a budget! I love the challenge :)
I still have a few last min details to take care of:
  • rent dj equipment
  • finish downloading wedding music
  • have final talk with photographer
  • finalize the food- PLEASE PEOPLE RSVP SO WE CAN HAVE A HEADCOUNT.
  • finalize seating for ceremony- again please RSVP so we can pay for extra chairs if needed.
  • get 2 more hotel pans for food.
  • Have final talks with baker, photographer, videographer, florist, vendor.
  • lay out table cloths so they arent wrinkled!
  • make timelines for the day of the wedding for myself, keo and all vendors/helpers.
  • Get the marriage license.
  • pack for honeymoon!
I believe thats it... for now... unless i realize i forgot something ( if i did- please mention it!).

  1. Um, yes, you forgot the most important thing...

    TO RELAX!

Just before you get married, take a time-out for yourself. By yourself, no mother, no sister, no friend. Just you in a room for a bit so you can just ponder, relax, and enjoy the moment. Turn on some comforting music and sit, or lay down, don't close your eyes so you can take in all the sights, smells, sounds of your surroundings as things rush on around you. Tell yourself to imprint that impression in your brain so you will always remember it. I've done this for another event in my life and I'm so glad I did because I remember every detail of that moment, down to the feeling I had at the time.

  2. lol- i have scheduled time for this in the wedding timeline! Ive done this trick for other things too- the earliest memory I have is being on the playground at holcomb elementary and crossing the monkey bars with friends. I usually say "remember this remember this remember this" while taking it all in!
